Turn the SOP into a course

Write the lessons, or upload the dock procedures document and let the assistant draft lessons and a quiz from it. You edit before anything goes live. Add a pass score and a signed acknowledgment.

  • Lessons with images, attachments and links
  • Multiple choice, true or false, short answer
  • Generate from document, then review
  • Type your name to sign off

02

Assign it by role, watch it finish

Every new dock hand gets the same three courses the day they are hired. The training record shows who has passed, who is halfway, and who has not started. Short answers come to you to grade.

  • Assign to a role, a location, or a person
  • Completion per person, per course, with scores
  • Short answers go to a manager to grade
  • Too many tries on one lesson raises a ticket

03

Retakes, on a schedule

Fuel dock safety every six months. Everyone is reminded two weeks before. Anyone overdue shows up as a ticket in the Ops Hub.

  • Retake every 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, or on a set date
  • Reminders 14 days out and on the day
  • Overdue training opens an Ops Hub ticket

04

The soft written warning

A dock hand skips the kill-switch demo. From the plus button, send a retraining notice: who, the day, the topic, a note, a photo if you have one. It sits in front of them the next time they open the app until they tap I understand. They can add their side. It stays in their history, and Reports count them per person.

  • A correction on the record, on every plan
  • One button: I understand
  • Their comment, if they want to add one
  • Managers see the history; Reports count notices per person

Frequently asked questions

How does this handle summer turnover?

Assign the same course set to every hire. Watch the completion column instead of hoping.

Can training expire?

Yes. Set a retake cadence. People are reminded, and overdue training opens a ticket for the manager.

Is a retraining notice a write-up?

It's a correction, on the record. The person reads it, can add their side, and taps I understand. Managers see the history and Reports count them per person. Nothing escalates on its own. It works on every plan.
